SmithWorks Golf is a family-owned business where all clubs are designed and developed by owner and PGA professional Stuart Smith in the UK.

Stuart's been in the golf industry for 40 years. He turned professional at 21, playing on the European Tour while simultaneously working with TaylorMade when the brand first started - collaborating closely with R&D and tour players to develop products that became industry leaders.

Throughout his career, Stuart worked with multiple major brands, helping them develop groundbreaking products while also working directly with top-level tour players on their equipment with manufacturers. He's been involved in many globally significant innovations over four decades.

As a coach, Stuart worked with some of the world's best golfers—including Seve Ballesteros, José María Olazábal, and Miguel Ángel Jiménez over many years. He's contributed to magazine articles on swing and equipment across Asia, the US, and Europe, attended two Ryder Cups for Team Europe as a coach, and been to almost every tournament on the European and PGA Tour.

After decades working at the highest level of professional golf, Stuart saw a problem: amateur golfers were stuck with equipment designed by committees and marketing departments—not people who truly understood the game from the inside.

SmithWorks Golf was born from that insight.
